Formaldehyde catcher and catalyst booster for resin finishing.
GENERAL PROPERTIES
- A formaldehyde catcher and catalyst booster for curing thermosetting resins in textile finishing.
- Can be combined with most softeners, additives and finishing auxiliaries.
- Shows minimum yellowing on white fabrics.
- Shows minimum colour alteration on dyed or printed material.
- There is no need for use of extra catalyst when Biocat EPO is used with a Glyoxal resin
- Allows a 20 to 50% reduction of free formaldehyde on treated fabric

PROCESSING
The finishing bath is prepared to almost full volume with the resin and other auxiliaries. The
Biocat EPO is then prediluted separately in cold water and added lastly to the bath set at pH 5 before finally making to volume.
APPLICATION
The required amount of Biocat EPO used in he finishing bath, depends primarily on the concentration of the resin as sold.
Recommendations:
Biocat EPO 30 to 50% of the resin dosage.
Refer to the individual resin technical information data for finishing recipes.
