SPECIAL ADVICE
- Flamgard FMB is capable of withstanding a water soak, but is not resistant to a machine-washing cycle.
- In order to obtain the maximum effect, the bath pH must be adjusted between 6 and 7 with acetic acid.
- The treated fabric must be fully dried prior to the to the baking stage in order to avoid loss of chemicals.
PROCESSING
Preparation of the cloth is important in order to achieve full hydrophility. The addition of a small amount of wetting agent is advised.
Flamgard FMB should be added to the bath under stirring.
It is important that drying is carried out at between 100ºC and 130ºC, followed by final baking at 150ºC for 5 minutes or up to 160ºC for 1-2 minutes.
