TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Hydrophilic silicone nano emulsion softener.
GENERAL PROPERTIES
- Can impart a soft, durable handle on all woven and knitted fabrics.
- Improves the elastomeric properties and stretch recovery of knitwear, especially when applied in
conjunction with extender and catalyst.
- Improves the sewability, crease recovery and wash/wear performance, when used in resin finishing.
- Is normally applied by pad application, but a good result can also be obtained by exhaust application.
- Shows no yellowing.
- Imparts outstanding hydrophilic properties to the treated fabric.

SPECIAL ADVISE
- Ensure that the substrate is well rinsed prior to application in order to avoid anionic products, loose dyes and residual alkalis.
- High agitation, temperatures above 40°C and alkali conditions should be avoided as the stability may be
affected.
PROCESSING
Silsoft NS should be pre-diluted in cold water before addition to the processing bath, which must be maintained at neutral to slightly acidic conditions and a temperature of not more than 40°C.
APPLICATION
Softening on woven and knitted 100% cotton and polyester / cotton blends.
